Overloud have also created a fairly easy to use patching system that is called Overloud Master Patch. It allows you to store and recall 11 amp or eq models. You can use the patching system to make amp and eq curves, pin plus or minus together and can also load in amp or eq sound fonts. It is a fairly easy to use and the sound they come up with is really really good. It is included with the 3 program but you cannot use it in studio as it just populates a preset bank in studio and you have to define your own. It is a really neat plugin and you don’t get it for free with the full version

Overloud also have a fantastic free version of Analog Lab which does everything Analog Lab does but with amps and effects instead of just guitars. The idea is that you capture a tube amp or stompbox rig with your mic preamp then use the gross out features to shape the signal up to taste. Amazingly, this works really well and you can easily work backwards and achieve a mixture that suit most situations. The free version is limited but still does what it says on the tin. I love this one.

The answer to all your vocal problems except your sister is Redline’s sibilant vocal de-esser. Redline also have the Redline Stompbox series that will prove invaluable. The free version will remove the most disturbing high-instances but this one has loads more features so jump the fence and lose the satellite for a bit of fun. d2c66b5586
