We have this on our office wall for the last few years, most just laugh at it and walk away. Once person read it then actually bought each of us a 6-pack of our favorite beer last year after we were working for 20 hours straight then four 15 hour days in a row last year when we were hit by ransomware. Small gesture but much appreciated.
In Mississippi, beer is a malt-based beverage that has no more than 8% alcohol by weight. Beer that has alcohol content greater than 8% by weight is not legal in Mississippi. Products that are wine-based and the alcohol content is less than 5% by weight are regulated like beer. These are called light wine products and are seen in the market typically as wine coolers. Beer and light wine cannot be sold in package stores. Likewise, alcoholic beverages cannot be sold in convenience or grocery stores.
However, a person who is 18-21 years of age, in the presence of his parent or legal guardian, may consume beer with the consent of the parent or legal guardian. Please note that this exception is for beer only and specifically does not include hard liquor or wine products that contain more than 5% alcohol by weight.
For beer only licensed premises, anyone who is legally employed may sell or otherwise handle beer, regardless of age. The minor employee is prohibited from consuming, purchasing or otherwise personally coming into possession of beer.
For ABC or alcohol licensed premises, employment to persons under 21 is generally prohibited. However, someone at least 18 years of age may wait tables, take orders and deliver alcohol products to the table IF that is in the normal scope of his/her employment. This exception does not allow someone to serve as a bartender or manager of the premises.
There are separate permits for beer and alcoholic beverages both issued through the Department of Revenue. A beer permit may be applied for through TAP. A beer permit allows a retailer to sell beer and light wine at his licensed premises. For beer and light wine, this permit can be for on-premises or off-premise sales. A municipality or county (depending on where the retailer is located) may issue a local beer permit. You should contact your local government authorities for information.
State law establishes the hours for on-premises sales of beer from 7:00 a.m. to midnight, 7 days a week. Municipal or county governments may, by ordinance, further restrict but not extend those hours.
The law provides for local elections to determine whether or not to allow beer to be sold in the local communities. Beer law provides that a vote to allow beer sales within a county will be held upon receipt by the board of supervisors of a petition signed by 20% of the qualified electors of the county. Likewise an election can be set to discontinue the sale of beer within the county upon receipt by the board of supervisors of a petition signed by 20% of the qualified electors of the county. Neither election may be held in any one county more often that once every five years.
Goldencold Lager is a refreshing, German-inspired beer brewed with Pilsner malt and a bit of Sauermalz to bring out a traditional, rounded note. Separating the husk from the mash allows us to brew a beer delicate in flavor and texture. The classic bitterness brings our corner of NEPA a little closer to you.
The Bronx Brewery believes in beer's power to build community. We're committed to using what we create and where we create it to bring people together, while celebrating the rich and diverse creative scene in our home borough and across New York City.

While liquor and wine are the same in Utah as the rest of the country we have two types of beer. Beer or malt beverage with up to 5% alcohol by volume is sold in grocery and convenience stores. Any beer or malt beverage with more than 5% alcohol by volume is sold in state-run liquor stores, restaurants, and bars.
Utah is home to more than a dozen craft breweries including Wasatch Beers, Squatters Craft Beers, Red Rock Brewing, Mine Shaft Brewing, Uinta Brewing, Bohemian Brewery, and Shades of Pale. And the newest addition, Park City Brewery, which transformed an auto-body shop into a brewery and taproom. You can find beer from Utah's craft breweries in restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and liquor stores. While beer sold in grocery stores and on tap in restaurants and bars is 3.2% alcohol by volume there is a wide variety of full-strength beer produced by these breweries and sold in cans and bottles in liquor stores and many restaurants and bars.
On the menu currently are specialty cocktails, beer, hard cider, and wine. You can order any of the options listed during lunch or dinner. Many of the options are American to fit with the theme of Liberty Square.
I recently purchased a new gravel bike, and as I started running searches online to compare one brand to another and one build kit to another, I quickly realized that if I considered every gravel bike in existence I would be overwhelmed. So, after running some basic comparisons, determining the key features I wanted, and deciding on a price point, I limited the scope of my search to bikes available from my shops locally.

But what is it, where did it come from, and just how does Stone, Sam Adams, Berkshire Brewing and some random German dudes get the helium in the beer can Keep reading if you want to know the hard truth. Or, listening, as The Reality Check podcast discusses the April Fool's Joke as well.
That means as soon as you try to aerate the beer, all the helium will rise straight out the top. The helium would leave the beer long before you ever got a chance to drink it. If you think you can add liquid helium to your beer and mix it that way, think again.
A few different companies pretended to brew some helium beer, and each one has added to the lore that is helium beer. Samuel Adams (Boston Beer Company) and Stone Brewing Co. are the two biggest names that dipped their toes in the hoax market, but tons of microbreweries have done the same thing in an attempt to get their brand on the map.
While the video convinced tons of people, the problem is that it was nothing but a ton of malarkey. No such beer existed, and they posted the video on April 1st. While they intended to drum up a bit of a following, they could never have expected to gain the amount of traction they did.
PS - good on Sam Adams founder, Jim Koch for being open to rolling with some fake science fun. We could listen to Koch talk to us all day about the solubility of helium and carbon dioxide, so long as he still brewed his tasty Boston Lager. 59ce067264
