My teen used to love math, but this year in Geometry he's lost all motivation. His grades are slipping and homework is a fight every night. I think meeting with a tutor a couple times a week could help get him back on track by re-building his confidence and making math engaging again. Any suggestions for tutors in the area that do interactive/hands-on lessons for high school math?

A good tutor should be able to break down complex mathematical concepts into simpler, more understandable terms. For instance, the concept of 'greater than or equal to' might seem daunting at first, but with the right explanation, it becomes much easier to grasp. I found this excellent resource on greater than or equal to that does just that. It's worth checking out!
