Engaging the enemy fighters, asteroid-based artillery, and several active "laser rocks," the pilot defeated HELIOS-3D's forces.[6]

In this study, we examined the effect of the open/closed Eustachian tubes on the peripheral auditory tuning of both sexes of O. tormota. The vibrational behavior of the sexually dimorphic tympanal membrane was evaluated using scanning laser Doppler vibrometry. Tympanal vibrations elicited by both synthetic sounds and playback of intraspecific calls were assessed. We evaluated the frequency selectivity and sensitivity of the inner ear by recording Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emissions (DPOAEs).
Tympanal vibrations were studied following the same general procedure used in a previous study on O. tormota (Gridi-Papp et al. 2008). Experiments were carried out on a vibration isolation table located in a dedicated acoustic isolation booth (Industrial Acoustics IAC series 1204A). A scanning laser Doppler vibrometer (Polytec PSV-300) with an OFV-056 scanning head was used to evaluate the tympanic membrane (TM) motion in response to ipsilateral acoustic stimulation. Each frog was orientated such that the TM was in focus and perpendicular to the laser beam. Acoustic stimuli were broadcast with a multi-field loudspeaker (MF1, Tucker-Davis Technologies) positioned at 6 cm from the frog tympanum and at 53° to the frog body axis. A reference microphone (MK 301, Microtech Gefell GmbH) connected to a conditioning amplifier (Brüel & Kjær Nexus 2690) was placed with its diaphragm parallel to the tympanum and near (ca. 5 mm) the tympanic annulus. The vibration velocity of the TM and sound level pressure were measured simultaneously and digitized through a data acquisition board (National Instruments, PCI-6110).

DaVinci Resolve includes over 20 Fairlight FX plug-ins for audio repair, creative sound design and mixing. You can also add third party Steinberg VST and Mac audio unit plug-ins. When you drag and drop one to a clip or track, its custom interface window will open so you can adjust its settings. Multiple plug-ins can be added to a clip, you can copy and paste effects between clips or tracks, and even save an entire effects chain in the presets library for use in other projects. Plug-ins are processed in order from top to bottom. You can delete, open and reorder them in the inspector. If processor heavy plug-ins are affecting playback, simply right click and select from the cache or bounce options.
The Fairlight audio page offers a variety of bounce options for quickly rendering audio as you work. This lets you improve playback performance by "bouncing" processor intensive clips and tracks, consolidating tracks, or generating finished audio files. Simply right click on a clip and select either bounce audio effects or bounce clips to files. "Bounce clips to files" opens a dialog where you can enter a clip name, tags, change the clip format, and choose a destination for the rendered file. You can also bounce selected tracks to a new layer or bounce a mix to a track. Bouncing a mix will always result in a channel configuration that matches the source bus.

The SWAT Turret is usually composed of a black armored SWAT van with an automated turret on top of it that features a laser targeting module. The Turret is stationary and acts as the law enforcer's version of the sentry gun. The turret itself has a medium attack range, but when made friendly with the use of an ECM jammer, it gains a significant range boost, capable of gunning down even Snipers if it happens to scan over them. A loudspeaker-like voice will announce when a SWAT Van Turret is about to enter the field and deploy (although due to bugs, this may not appear on Four Stores with specific RNG). Helicopter, ceiling and AA guns do not have this warning.
Instead of using audio like other specials, the turret instead relies on visual means to telegraph its attacks. Whilst the laser obviously indicates the direction of attack, the colour indicates its status: red means hostile to the players, amber indicates the eight second reload is underway, green means friendly to players (and hostile to law enforcers), and flashing green indicates the ECM controlling it is about to end.
Once exposed, the targeting lens (where the laser is emitted) can be damaged. It is highly recommended players concentrate fire at this time, abusing the x100 damage bonus with automatic or high-damage weapons and working together to quickly finish it.
The turret has a rate of fire of 1000 rounds/minute, so it is advisable to confront it while it's focused elsewhere, friendly, or performing its 8-second reload (yellow laser). The turret's damage also increases with difficulty, and carries a x4 damage multiplier at less than eight metres; combined with 400 round magazines, players must either combine heavy armour (or cover) and distance or very high dodge and speed lest they be ripped to shreds. Due to how dodging and taking damage works, it is possible to continue dodging for as long as the turret shoots the player (with no other units doing so) while taking no damage, making for a useful distraction to take on the turret.
Placing an ECM anywhere on the map will cause the gun to temporarily target law enforcers, the targeting laser changing from red to green to reflect this. When the ECM's effect is almost over the laser will flash notifying heisters to move to cover before the turret turns on them.
