Race Driver Grid Realism Mod 13

F1 Clash has a free-to-play model with two DLC packs available. The first, The Ultimate Upgrade, is free and includes new tracks, improved AI drivers, and a new car, the F2. The second is The Ultimate Championship, which features a full season of races, 32 events, and 10 races. None of the DLC packs are required to play the game. They're optional, for people who want to go really deep.
Glitch #1: The game sometimes crashes when certain events occur or when the AI drivers contact you. It's happened a few times to me, but I've encountered it more than I'd like to admit.
Glitch #2: The game occasionally freezes when you're racing in a multiplayer session. For some reason, it happens the most when you're in mid-race and just waiting for the red lights to go off.
As you might expect from a racing game, there's a great deal of emphasis on visuals. So much, in fact, that it can distract from the gameplay. All of the tracks are rendered in beautiful 3D, as seen in the screenshots above and below, but the gameplay is 2D. If you prefer your racing more realistic, this game might not be the right choice.
Other game modes are also available: Season (a multi-season career that will feature a series of 32 events and 10 races), Time Trial, and Multiplayer. Multiplayer is available in four different modes (Practice, Time Trial, Season, and Online) and with up to 12 players. It's not as robust as F1 2019, but there's a lot of replayability here since you can do any of these modes in any order.
It is also hard to get really good times. The best times seem to be consistently set by racing on the same track. The cars seem to know where the walls are. I'm pretty sure I saw one car crash into the barrier and then bounce back out, and it didn't even break a wheel.
At the end of each race, you earn up to 200 points for finishing on pole, 25 for fastest lap, 5 for fastest time and 1 for setting a new record. You can earn more points by being creative. You can drive like an idiot and win, or you can be as artful as you want and set some impressive times.
The gameplay is a little fun, but it's a little short. Up to four people can race, and the game doesn't have a full single-player mode, so there isn't a lot of reason to do more than play with a buddy. You could spend a lot of time trying to unlock all the cars. (They are all unlocked in the free version.) You could spend a lot of time trying to beat your friend's best times. (They are uploaded to Facebook, so that can be a bit of a game.)
Racer U is definitely a game for those who love driving games, like I do. It's a shame that it's not available on the PS4, but seeing as the game is available on both mobile and PC, I'm not too fussed. It's a niche but well-made racer game, for those who want to spend their time in the pursuit of the perfect race. 827ec27edc
